I supposed that showing a fall greeting card after the 10 inches of snow we had last week is a bit belated — but it is the next PFCC challenge in the sequence. It was actually composited at the end of September. There were actually a lot more leaves that fell after the snow, but they’re pretty much gone now,
I started off with the string of birch leaves shown on the front of the card (from Adobe Spark stock images shown below center). I mimicked the color gradations of the leaves with a color gradient on the font, which is called Wilgaty Smooth Demo. The actual starting image (postage_stamp_PNG6 from PngImg.com shown below right) was the outside of the postage stamp. I used Castle fall 2886208 by azazelok from Pixabay ( shown left below) for the inside of the stamp. The texture of the card and envelope was 001_paper from a Graphic Authority collection called “Antique Papers”. The wooden leafy background is Autumn Leaves on wood 2690771 by Stux on Pixabay. I chose it because the maple leaves matched the colors of the birch leaves.
